$299? What’s the catch?
There isn’t one, but here’s the honest reason. My normal rate for a store build is $1,499. I’m a Shopify Partner building out my partner portfolio, so I’m taking on a limited number of new stores at $299 to do it. 9 are live so far. When the portfolio is full, the price goes back to normal. You get the same work I get another real store to point at.

What $299 actually gets you
Not a template dumped in your lap. A store that is set up, filled in, tested and ready to take a real order on the day it goes live.
- A premium Shopify theme installed and set up with your logo, colours and fonts
- Up to 25 products uploaded images, descriptions, prices, variants, stock
- Home, collection, product, cart and checkout pages properly configured
- Payments live for your country: cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Shopify Payments, plus PayPal
- Shipping zones and delivery rates set up for where you sell
- Your domain connected or help buying one if you don't have it yet

What it does not include
Worth reading before you message me. A cheap price with hidden extras is just an expensive price you find out about later.
Your Shopify subscription
Shopify bills you directly for their own plan that is not something I can include or waive. At the time of writing the Basic plan is around $29–39/month depending on how you're billed, and Shopify usually runs a $1/month introductory offer to start. I'll show you the current pricing before you commit to anything.
Product photos and written descriptions
Send me what you have and I'll place it properly. If you don't have photos yet, I'll tell you exactly what to shoot and how it's usually a phone and a window.
Running ads, and changes after handover
Both are available separately. Neither is bundled into this price, because bundling them is how a cheap build turns into an expensive surprise.
Custom apps, headless builds and Shopify Plus work
That's my normal engineering work and it starts around $1,499. If that's what you actually need, I'll tell you on the call instead of selling you this.

I build it, you review it
You get a private link to look at, we fix whatever you want changed, and it goes live. Usually within 7 days of getting your products.
Who’s actually building it
Me. Not an agency floor, not a reseller passing your job down a chain. I’ve spent over ten years shipping production software, including financial products at Paytm, and I run Capaxe Labs as a Shopify systems engineering studio from Mumbai. The rest of my work is custom apps, headless storefronts and performance engineering for brands already doing volume which is exactly why I can set up a straightforward store quickly and not cut corners doing it.
You’ll have my WhatsApp number from the first message to the last. Same person throughout.
Straight answers
Is $299 really the whole price?
Yes, for everything in the list above. The only other cost is Shopify's own monthly plan, which they bill you for directly I never touch that money. If your store needs something outside the list, I'll quote it before starting, not after.
Who owns the store?
You do, completely. It's created under your email, your Shopify account, your bank details and your domain. I get access as a collaborator while I build, and you can remove me the day it goes live. There is no lock-in and nothing to pay me monthly.
Why would you work for this little?
Because I'm building out my Shopify Partner portfolio and a live store is worth more to me than the difference in fee. That's the entire reason. It's a limited number of stores — 9 are live so far and when the portfolio is full the price goes back to $1,499.
I don't have products or photos ready. Is that a problem?
No, but it does set the timeline. I'll build the store structure and show you exactly what to send. Most people are ready within a week once they know what's needed.
You're in India and I'm not. Does that work?
It works fine, and it's part of why the price is what it is. Everything happens over WhatsApp and video call, I overlap comfortably with US and European hours, and most of the stores I've built were for merchants I've never met in person.
How do I pay?
PayPal, Wise or card, in two parts — half to start and half when the store goes live. Nothing is due until after we've spoken and you've agreed the scope.
